I always have a great time fishing with Captain Joe! Not only is he very knowledgeable on the area, but he's polite and a great conversation! I didn't get my King, BUT he got me my first tripletail and I caught the biggest ladyfish I've ever seen! Every time I book, I have a great time! Can't wait to book again with y'all soon! 😁

Unforgettable Fishing Trip with Captain Joe (Masi Boys)! We had an incredible experience with Masi Boys Fishing Charter! From start to finish, Captain Joe was professional, knowledgeable, and awesome with the kids. My sons had an absolute blast—catching all kinds of fish, including grouper, flounder, snapper and more! 🎣 The boat was clean, the gear was top-notch, and the vibe was fun and relaxed. Captain Joe took us to great spots and kept everyone engaged the entire time. He made sure the boys were safe, smiling, and reeling in fish after fish. The smiles say it all! What an amazing trip. The captain was attentive to my son’s desires and super patient with making sure they caught sharks! He worked his butt off to keep the bait luring the hammerheads and black tip sharks coming in. When they did, he knew exactly what to do and how to make my kids feel like they were the anglers of the year. We would definitely recommend the Masi fishing tour!!! He knows this area and the fish well as he is a native. He was on time and a great communicator!

We have been fishing charters in Florida for over 20 years. Some good, some bad. Fishing with Joe was hands down the most fun, most successful trip including a 36" Snook my gf caught. It was a full service charter, he is very knowledgeable, patient, and willing to move to find the fish. He was low stress and he made everyone comfortable as we had beginners to experienced anglers with us. We will definitely be fishing with him again. Not just the catch, but it was the best charter I have been on all around.

Trip - Half Day Snook and Black Sea Bass Fishing Charter In Tampa Bay on March 18, 2025

This was my second trip with Joe, we went out last year for the 4hr trip and brought back a dozen keeper grunt fillets to cook up. This year we were coming off a couple days of rainy, windy weather and the gulf was rough so we stayed on the intracostal areas but the water was still murky. Had a fair amount of bites, boated some trout that were just undersized so had to throw back but still fun to catch. Plus a couple hammerhead sharks about 18-20 inches that fought pretty good. Joe is very active on the boat, organized and worked hard for us, changing spots several times. Unfortunately no keepers this time, but that's why it's "fishing" and not "catching"!
